IMPORTANT: Donation Drop Off times are Tuesday thru Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:15 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM. The Council Bluff ReStore is CLOSED on Sunday and Monday.

As you remodel, clean, downsize or just get organized, don’t let the items you no longer need end up in your local landfill.
Our ReStore diverts tons of unused materials from going to landfills each year. We accept hard-to-dispose-of items including new and used furniture, appliances and surplus building materials.
Best of all, proceeds from the sale of these donated goods help families build a foundation for the future.
All the items we take must be:
- Reusable: The item must be made for use in or can easily be used directly in residential or light commercial construction, improvement, maintenance, or furnishing by the common home or small business owner.
- Structurally Sound & Complete: The item must be complete, intact, sturdy and free of damage.
- Functional: The item must be able to do what it was made to do. It needs to be ready to work “right off the shelf” without repair.
- Cosmetically Appealing: The item must be appealing for reuse “as is” in another person’s home, something you’d give to friends or family.
- Sell-able: Our trained staff must determine that the item will sell in our store.
If you are scheduling a donation pick up, please note that the items need to be in your garage or driveway and easily accessible the day of the pick up. We do not enter private residences to remove items or back our donation vehicle onto yards or sidewalks.

- Unframed Glass or Mirrors
- Baby Items/Toys/Furniture/Car Seats
- Paint, thinners and stains
- Household liquids
- Used Carpeting
- Oversized or Commercial Doors/Windows
- Scrap wood (under 6 foot in length)
- Items that are stained/torn/missing parts or needing repair
